Nationals Dealt 6-1 Home Loss
|
Boston Red Sox pitcher Farri Mpasa whisked his team past the Washington Nationals, 6-1. The first-place Red Sox go to 47-24.
Boston took the lead, 4-1, on Danny Clark's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Washington pitcher Abdikarim Tor in the top of the ninth.
Mpasa attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
