The Arizona Diamondbacks had to overcome a big game from Milwaukee center fielder Danny Macias to leave Chase Field with a victory. And they did, winning, 11-9. Macias went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. Jaden Ellison wrapped it up, recording his 5th save. The loss makes Milwaukee 24-39.

The Brewers had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Diamondbacks going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old shortstop Angelo Polanco came to the plate. Polanco hit a 2-run double on a 1-0 curveball from Milwaukee hurler Dusty Olivier. It was Polanco's 11th double of the year.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Polanco said.
