The New York Yankees dealt the Houston Astros a 4-3 loss at Yankee Stadium. Mike Hobbick was the star on offense. He hit 2 home runs. Dave Lodi recorded the save for New York, his 2nd of the season. The Yankees raised their record to 22-32.

New York grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Hobbick hit a solo home run off Chris Kersten. His 8th home run of the season put the Yankees out in front, 3-2.
