The Houston Astros and Arizona Diamondbacks provided some drama for the home crowd.

Arizona beat Houston at Minute Maid Park, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Chris Johnston. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Steve Presley, now 2-1, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0.

Arizona used a clutch hit from Kevin Jacobs to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Diamondbacks ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"Hustle and hard work is a big part of our success," said Johnston. "Those qualities define our team."

The Diamondbacks now own a record of 18-22.
