Boston Beats Seattle, 9-1
|
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners came back from a rain delay to finish their game.
Boston starter Ethan Roach kept the Seattle hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-1. The Boston winning streak has reached 3 games.
Mike Sparks had a big hit for Boston in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Boston leading 2-0, Sparks hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Red Sox up, 5-0.
"We've got great fans," said Sparks. "I hope they got what they came for."
