Sultanes Hurler Coleman Tosses Masterpiece Monday, May 14th, 2007 Before the game, Steve Coleman said he liked his chances. His instincts proved to be right. In a superb outing at Sultanes Ballpark, the Sultanes pitcher whitewashed the Yucatan Leones 7-0. "I just had a feeling it was going to be my day," Coleman said in the clubhouse afterward. "My control was awesome. I could throw my changeup even when I was behind in the count." The Monterrey starter held Yucatan scoreless, giving up 4 hits while registering 7 strikeouts and issuing 3 walks. "We didn't have very many good at-bats," Leones manager Billy Bakalian said in his postgame interview. "When that happens, you usually lose."
