Player of the Week Trophy to Cordero Monday, September 4th , 2051 His hard work and hustle paid off this week. The hard-working and hard-playing Sandro Cordero was rewarded with the z-Liga Mexican de Beisbol Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Yucatan Matadors third baseman hit .480 while collecting 12 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs and 12 RBIs. So far this year Cordero has hit .262 with 11 home runs, 41 RBIs and 35 runs scored. |
