NYP Announces Outstanding Player Award
Saturday, October 23rd , 2055
The manager of the Atlantic City Jokers said he thinks Luca Bonds is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the third baseman's 2055 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the New York-Penn League Most Valuable Player.

His winning campaign featured a .365 batting average and a .484 on-base percentage this year. In 60 games he piled up 81 hits, 13 doubles, no triples, 11 home runs, 33 RBIs and 40 runs scored.

He received 23 first place votes out of a possible 36. Merlin Mattson of the West Virginia Black Bears finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Noah Bissambhar of the Maine Lobsters finished third with 4 first place votes.
