Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl

After an intense confrontation, both the Hawks Dan Gamble and the Cavalry Cal Davidge were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Boise-New Westminster game. Dan Gamble will miss 3 games, while Cal Davidge was suspended for 7 games.
"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Dan Gamble commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."
In 2059 Gamble has hit at a .291 clip with 53 hits, 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 23 times.
Davidge has pitched 29.1 innings and molded a 3.38 ERA with 1 save. He has surrendered 27 hits while registering 31 strikeouts on his way to a 0-3 record for the Cavalry this year.
