Wild Card Series Goes the Distance, Spokane Prevails Monday, September 14th , 2065 A classic and dramatic Wild Card Series has wrapped up, with the Spokane Indians outlasting the Everett AquaSox to advance to the Divisional Series. Spokane won the final game by a score of 10-1 and took the series 4-3. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Spokane catcher Chet McMullen, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. McMullen hit .357 with a .419 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 3 runs.
