New York-Penn League Selects July's Best Batter Monday, August 1st , 2061 At only 24 years of age, Jim O'Neil could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the State College Spikes, as July was one to remember for the third baseman and he has captured the New York-Penn League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .371 with 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Currently O'Neil is batting .377 with 7 home runs and 15 RBIs. |
