Eugene Emeralds starter Nathaniel Card kept the Owls cold all day, shutting them out, 8-0. In a fine outing, the 19-year-old hurler allowed 3 hits while striking out 14 and walking 1. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Card admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
