Dolezal Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Friday, July 15th , 2061 Luke Dolezal has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 21-year-old Medford Flying Tigers center fielder extended his streak to 20 games, going 2-for-3 as Medford got the best of the Eugene Emeralds at Medford Grounds, 14-1. "Luke has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Flying Tigers manager Francisco Hichez said. Luke Dolezal walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a three-run home run off Eric Lamborn in the 6th. Looking at his present stats, Dolezal has compiled a .378 batting average in 23 games with a .413 on-base percentage, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 17 runs. |
