Star of the Week Selected in NYP Monday, July 4th , 2061 Connecticut Tigers first baseman Colt Kibler had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the New York-Penn League named him Player of the Week. Kibler banged out 13 hits in 25 at-bats on the way to a .520 batting average. He also racked up 3 home runs, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
