NWL Awards Best Batter Prize to García Monday, July 10th , 2051 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Northwest League, but last week Crescencio García of the Kennewick Marauders reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. García rocked opposing pitching for a .652 average (15-for-23), 5 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. García is batting at a .393 pace this season, picking up 22 hits in 56 at-bats with 6 home runs, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
