Lance Shackles Atlantic City Saturday, August 31st, 2019 Vermont Lake Monsters pitcher Danny Lance did his job to perfection today, blanking the Atlantic City Jokers at Centennial Field. He scattered 7 hits while striking out 6 in the 5-0 shutout. "All I did was not allow any runs," he joked after the game. "I mean, technically, that's what they pay me to do, right?"
