Jokers Allen to Miss Year Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019 Chris Allen of the Jokers just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Atlantic City reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Hudson Valley Renegades recently at Monongalia County Ballpark. Allen suffered a bone spur in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Jokers medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 5 months. This year Allen has notched no saves. He has 15 strikeouts and 9 walks in 9.2 innings while registering a 9.31 ERA and a 0-1 won-lost record. |
