Season May Be Over for Mariners Christiansen Sunday, April 21st , 2052 Virginia Beach starting pitcher Andy Christiansen could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn rotator cuff. He exited yesterday's Traverse City game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Christiansen would be out 10 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." |
