Flying Tigers Move on to Divisional Series Wednesday, September 24th , 2064 The Lakeland Flying Tigers triumphed 3-2 over the Charlotte Stone Crabs at Charlotte Sports Park in the Wild Card Series to capture it 4-1. The victory advanced the Flying Tigers to the Divisional Series. For his superb play in the series, Flying Tigers second baseman Freddie Van Tassel garnered the series MVP trophy, hitting .478, scoring 3 runs and batting in 5. "Only thing better than getting MVP for winning in the playoffs would be winning MVP for winning in the A+ Championship Series," Van Tassel said later. "I'll get to work on that."
