Cruisers Heading to Regional Championship Series Monday, October 3rd , 2061 Ramón Sonora sparked his Santa Cruz Cruisers past the pesky Sonoma Stompers in a closely-contested Divisional Series. Santa Cruz topped Sonoma 10-7 at LoanMart Field to decide the series, 4-2 For his efforts, Sonora was rewarded with the series MVP trophy for his .310 batting average, 12 RBIs and 9 runs scored. "You never want to leave anything on the field," Sonora said. "You never want to miss a play of defense you could have made, or give up an extra base you could have gotten, because in a series this tight you never know what you'll need to win."
