Dunedin Defeats Modesto Saturday, October 31st , 2065 The Dunedin faithful were cheering in the streets, and Modesto fans wiping away the tears, after the Blue Jays won the A+ Championship Series at John Thurman Field today. The Blue Jays clinched it by knocking off the Nuts 5-4 to take their 7th Single A Advanced crown. Dunedin took the series 4-3. "This club never gave up all year long," Dunedin manager Frank Sala told the press. "They believed they could win the title and they did." On the way to the A+ Championship Series title, Dunedin compiled a 71-65 won-loss record and finished second in the East Coast League Florida Division.
