Jupiter Hammerheads Guaranteed Top Spot in East Coast League Florida Division Tuesday, August 19th , 2059 They may have won the East Coast League Florida Division easily, but that didn't stop members of the Jupiter Hammerheads from celebrating joyously when the clinch became official. "It doesn't matter if you're one game ahead, or 100 games ahead, it still feels amazing to be division champs, especially in the East Coast League Florida Division," said left fielder Wyatt Hixenbaugh. "This is where you want to be from the get go when you start each year." The smiles on the faces of the Jupiter players stretched ear-to-ear as they embraced each other in bear hugs, while yelling, singing, chanting and even drinking in their clubhouse, late into the night. It is the 35th division title for the club and they will now be vying for the 7th Single A Advanced championship in team history. |
