Udder Tuggers Charlie Trainum Down and Out for Year

Charlie Trainum has to call it a season. The Temecula Udder Tuggers starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Pittsburg Diamonds and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Trainum was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 10-11 months.
To this point in the season, Trainum shows a 0-2 record, 6 starts, 24.1 innings, 15 strikeouts and a 6.66 ERA.
