Giants Halt Robbins Hit Streak Saturday, July 30th , 2061 T.J. Robbins's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Santa Cruz Cruisers dropped their contest with the San Jose Giants, 2-1, at LoanMart Field. Robbins failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Robbins spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Robbins on the season is hitting .292 with 15 home runs. His stats include 52 RBIs and 63 runs scored. |
