Ozak Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Friday, June 26th , 2065 Tymon Ozak, second baseman for the Winston-Salem Dash, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 6-3 victory over the Dunedin Blue Jays at BB&T Ballpark. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Tymon Ozak singled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. This year, Ozak is hitting .299 with 63 hits, 6 home runs, 29 RBIs and has scored 29 runs. |
