East Coast League Announces May's Best Batter Wednesday, June 1st , 2061 At only 23 years of age, Adrián Loyola could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Carolina Mudcats, as May was one to remember for the shortstop and he has captured the East Coast League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .341 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs and 24 runs scored. During the current season Loyola is batting at a .331 clip with 10 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 36 games and scored 31 times. |
