Morrison on Fire: 5-for-6 for Ventura
Tuesday, April 19th , 2061
Ventura third baseman Zaiden Morrison could do no wrong in his team's 8-5 win over the Udder Tuggers, as he collected 5 hits.
"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Udder Tuggers skipper Richard Ossman said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."
Morrison agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.
"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."
Zaiden Morrison singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
