Playoffs? No Chance for High Desert Monday, July 29th, 2019 There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the High Desert Mavericks this season. Few of them are positive. And as of today, the Mavericks can add another descriptor -- officially eliminated from the playoffs. The Mavericks have missed the playoffs 31 times in their 39 years as a Single A Advanced - U26 franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 15th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2003. High Desert has won the Advanced A Championship Series 5 times in their history. |
