Jagerson Gets 5 Hits Monday, April 22nd, 2019 Fans at Mavericks Stadium got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The High Desert Mavericks outplayed the Visalia Rawhide en route to a 13-1 win, but the standout was center fielder Elliot Jagerson. Jagerson netted 5 hits in 6 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Rawhide manager Roansy Simpson said in his postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Elliot Jagerson flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
