Kim Goes 5-for-6 Against Lynchburg
Monday, June 21st , 2060
Frank Kim of the Hammerheads was unstoppable in his team's 14-4 victory over the Lynchburg Hillcats at Calvin Falwell Field. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Jupiter right fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Frank Kim singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Jacob Hursey in the 9th.
For the season, Kim has hit .321 with 5 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 52 games and scored 35 times.
