Big Day with Bat: Caudillo 5-for-7 Saturday, June 8th , 2052 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Domingo Caudillo. The second baseman for the Lakeland Flying Tigers hit the milestone today against the Salem Red Sox, helping his club to a narrow 4-3 victory. Caudillo finished with a 5-for-7 line at the plate. "Caudillo was a tough out today," Salem manager Dave Cornaby told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Domingo Caudillo singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, doubled in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
