Injury Sidelines Mitch Caudle For Year

Mitch Caudle has to call it a season. The Hudson Valley Renegades right fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the St. Lucie Mets and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Caudle was injured while throwing the ball. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 7-8 months.
In 17 games this year, Caudle has posted a .224 average and put up these numbers: 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
