Yonkers's Selem Chosen EL Batter of the Month Saturday, June 1st, 2019 Orlando Selem is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Yonkers first baseman joined that select company when the Eastern League announced the results of May's voting. Selem totaled 45 hits, 8 walks, 2 home runs, 30 RBIs and 16 runs scored last month to put together a .366 batting average and .403 on-base percentage. Thus far this year Selem has hit .321 with 6 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
