Lange Crashes 3 HR Against Pawtucket
Saturday, August 22nd, 2020
It was a good day for the Newark Bears and an exceptional one for Alaric Lange. The 25-year-old left fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Bears beat the Pawtucket Red Sox 22-1 at McCoy Stadium.

"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Lange said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."

For the day, he scored 5 times, drove in 8 runs and smacked 5 hits in 7 at-bats.

Alaric Lange flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Andy Anderson in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Alex Cortez in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Josh Levario in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and flied out in the 9th.

A look at his season totals shows Lange with 5 home runs, .500 BA, .594 OBP, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
