Thrice Is Nice: McKee Unloads 3 Homers Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 Honolulu first baseman Sean McKee blasted three homers today at Smith's Ballpark in the 14-6 ThunderSharks victory over the Portland Knightmares. For the game, Sean McKee scored 4 times and knocked in 4 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant McKee when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 3-for-4, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful McKee told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Sean McKee struck out in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ricky Gonzalez in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Mike Jacobs in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Jacobs in the 8th.
