Justin Bailey Sidelined for 5 Weeks Tuesday, May 4th , 2032 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Justin Bailey of the Braves knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Memphis Blues while running the bases. Because of a fractured foot, the Atlanta first baseman is expected to miss 5 weeks. Bailey was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." So far this season, Bailey has recorded a .371 batting average with 36 hits, 1 home run, 12 RBIs, 19 runs scored and a .425 OBP. |
