Lamb Blanks San Diego, 10-0 Wednesday, April 26th , 2028 The San Diego Padres had no answer today for Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Chris Lamb. They failed to score a single run against him, losing 10-0. San Diego managed only 2 hits off Lamb, who had 11 strikeouts. The extraordinarily popular Lamb got a standing ovation from the hometown crowd as he left the field, the applause continuing until he returned from the dugout to tip his cap to the crowd. "Diamondbacks fans are the best fans, in my opinion," he said. "It's a great feeling to throw a shutout under any circumstances but to do it with the crowd behind you like that is just incredible."
