Houston-Milwaukee Trade: Baez for McCray Friday, January 9th, 2026 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Houston Astros and Milwaukee Brewers has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 21-year-old minor league 1B Jordan Henry, 23-year-old minor league LHP Jon Baez, 20-year-old minor league CF Josh Pearce and 21-year-old minor league 2B Victor Bocanegra to Milwaukee in return for 25-year-old LHP Nolan McCray and 27-year-old RHP John Claypool. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. In his lifetime totals McCray has no saves with a 6-11 record and a 6.21 ERA. |
