Pirates Dewart Suffers Setback Thursday, August 19th, 2027 First Jon Dewart got hurt and suffered a strained oblique. Now he is going to miss even more games. Treatment was going well until yesterday when the Pirates center fielder overextended himself in a workout and suffered a setback. The Pittsburgh medical staff have now revised his recovery time to at least 2 weeks. So far this season Dewart has 3 home runs and a .222 batting average. |
