Danny Fulks Hurls No-No Against Detroit Monday, July 26th, 2027 In a dominant outing, Danny Fulks of the Oakland Athletics totally silenced the bats of the Detroit Tigers, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Athletics' 2-0 victory, Fulks faced only 30 batters, surrendered no hits, had 11 strikeouts and 1 walk. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Oakland manager Bob Huntley said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager Chris Everett told reporters in the clubhouse that he had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game.
