John Gentry Out 9 Months Sunday, September 11th , 2039 Minnesota learned today that they will be without starting pitcher John Gentry for 9 months. Gentry was injured throwing a pitch and sustained a stretched elbow ligament. He was hurt in the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Gentry has made 28 starts so far this year and put up a 9-11 won-lost record with a 3.94 ERA. In 175.2 innings he has allowed 178 hits, walked 42 and struck out 150. |
