Giants End Maldonado's Streak Tuesday, August 4th , 2043 Lady Luck was not on the side of Livio Maldonado or his teammates today at Coors Field. Everything went the way of the San Francisco Giants, who not only came away with the 7-2 victory over Colorado, but also held Maldonado hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 35-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Maldonado said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Maldonado has no home runs and a .299 batting average. |
