#1 Western Region Newcomer Named Tuesday, July 1st , 2031 Yes, Danny Tomlin is just a rookie. But he is a special rookie. Today the 25-year-old Las Vegas starter was awarded the Western Region Rookie of the Month trophy for his standout performance in June. He dominated the rookie class, registering 3 wins and no losses in 5 starts with 23 strikeouts in 33.2 innings and a 2.41 ERA. Not bad for a first-year man. Tomlin has posted a 5-6 record for the year with a 3.71 ERA. Teams are hitting .291 against him and he has rung up 51 strikeouts in 85 innings. |
