Trouble in Chicago, Languren Suffers Setback Monday, September 3rd , 2029 The Chicago Cubs plan to take it slow with shortstop Henry Languren, knowing that his recovery from a stiff back would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Henry has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 4 days before he can be activated." Languren is swinging at a .264 pace on the year with no home runs, 24 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has played in 99 games. |
