William Guarneros Injured, Out for Season Saturday, June 7th , 2031 Toronto catcher William Guarneros could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He exited yesterday's Cincinnati game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Guarneros would be out 9 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." This year Guarneros has batted at a .260 pace with 40 hits, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 14 times. |
