Arizona's Brandon Chavez Suffers Setback Friday, May 22nd , 2037 Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Brandon Chavez got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Chavez to be ready to go within one week. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a strained biceps to take this long to heal." In 2 starts this season Chavez has recorded a 0-1 record and a 1.29 ERA. |
