Toronto Trades Ogles for Colorado's Gross
Monday, August 6th , 2029
It's all done except the paperwork. The Toronto Blue Jays and the Colorado Rockies have agreed to a trade that will send 32-year old RHP Jeremy Ogles and 30-year old LHP Miguel Jimenez to Colorado, while 32-year old LF Charlie Gross, 22-year old minor league LHP Roger Coleman, 21-year old minor league RHP Steve Egan, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 7th round draft pick will be shipped to Toronto. A top front office executive with the Blue Jays described the trade talks as "quick and easy." "We're glad to get this deal done. We think it's something that helps our ball club and it didn't take too long at all to sort this one out," he said.

Ogles has made 8 starts, tossed 43.2 innings, struck out 35 batters and walked 5. His record is 3-2 with a 3.92 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .274 batting average.

This year Gross is batting .200 with 21 hits, 8 home runs, 23 RBIs, 16 walks, .303 OBP and has scored 18 runs.
