Ward Sticks It to EAST Pitchers Monday, May 4th , 2037 The Memphis Blues received word today that first baseman Eli Ward was selected Eastern Region Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Ward took full advantage of all 28 plate appearances last week as he hit .478 with 11 hits, 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Ward has batted at a .351 pace with 40 hits, 12 home runs, 34 RBIs and scored 19 times. |
