Austin Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Sunday, June 10th , 2035 Caleb Austin of the St. Louis Terriers was hurt in yesterday's game with the Athletics. He sustained a knee contusion while being hit by a pitch and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be 2 weeks before the standout first baseman will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. So far this season Austin is hitting .269 with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 60 hits in 223 at-bats and a .350 OBP. |
