Montreal Loses Spresser for Year Friday, May 5th , 2045 The season is apparently over for K.C. Spresser. The Montreal Expos medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 9-10 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Spresser was hurt in the game against New York while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To date this year, he has registered 2 saves, 1 win and 1 loss with a 1.93 ERA. Spresser has made 14 relief appearances, worked a total of 14 innings and surrendered 12 hits. He has fanned 17, issued 6 free passes and held opposing clubs to a .231 batting average. |
